CNG STATION EQUIPMENTS
CNG stations are meant to recharge automobiles with compressed natural gas.
CNG stations are classified based on the availability of a gas pipeline and the ability to connect to one.
Classic "parent" CNG station.
CNG substations.
A traditionally constructed CNG station consists of process equipment components contained in one or more containers. A gas distribution pipeline must be present for such a CNG station to operate. The classic CNG station can refuel cars, trucks, buses, agricultural machinery, mobile gas refuellers, and other CNG vehicles. The conventional CNG station is permanently placed. In the absence of a gas pipeline, gas is delivered to the CNG substation by a mobile gas refueling vehicle, which is refueled at the traditional "parent" CNG station.
A CNG substation has the advantage of being mobile. It can feed CNG not just to on-site vehicles, but also to remote vehicle depots and other facilities without a gas pipeline.
CNG STATION BENEFITS
Compressed natural gas (CNG) is a compressed form of methane that can be used to power vehicles instead of gasoline, diesel fuel, or liquefied autogas (LPG).
CNG is the only motor fuel that may be manufactured on-site.
The main advantages of in-house CNG manufacturing are
-
Economic feasibility. CNG costs 2.5-3 times less than regular fuel. The primary expense of CNG manufacturing is gas and electricity, the prices of which are set by the government.
-
Eco-friendliness. CNG vehicles meet Euro 4 and Euro 5 environmental criteria. CNG combustion products emit less greenhouse gas than traditional fuels, making them more environmentally friendly.
-
Safety. CNG is one of the safest Class 4 fuels, according to the combustibles sensitivity classification. Methane is twice as light as air, therefore if there is a leak, it will evaporate fast and without leaving a trace, unlike other fuels.
-
Energy security. There is no reliance on gasoline supply, and no need to visit a gas station. There are no gasoline delivery or storage expenses.
-
Production is easy. The most diverse alternatives for providing practically any volume of fuel and arranging delivery to remote vehicle locations (if necessary).
-
Fuel consumption monitoring. Preventing fuel misuse.
-
Excellent fuel quality and stability at both low and high ambient temperatures.
-
1.5 times longer maintenance interval, maintaining an even oil film on the cylinder walls, no microparticles in the combustion chamber, and reducing combustion engine detonation.
-
The potential for additional cash by selling the CNG produced to third parties at a commercial price.
